Zero and Ichiru have such a complex relationship. They both love each other, and hate each other. Ichru loves Shizuka, but Zero hates her. Zero loved their parents, however Ichiru hated them.
And just when it looked like they might finally be abel to reconcile, Ichiru died with out either of them telling the other what they really wanted to say.;-;
Again, love ‘em so much!! T^T
Albeit, their scenes in chapter 59 was heart-warming, but it’s still not enough to cover for all that years that they had lost, becoming some sort of enemy! T__T
It’s hinted at many times, that Zero always loves Ichiru! I love that side story titled “Cross-san’s Child Rearing Diaries”, featured after chapter 48, where Ichiru ‘perhaps unconsciously’ being clingy to Zero, and Zero being reluctant about that, but still didn’t do anything to shove Ichiru away ^^
