Yuuki is fed up with the boys always fighting and gives them an ultimatum: She will be with them, with the two of them, but only on the condition that the two succeed at becoming lovers first… Much to their horror. XD (The focus of the challenge is yaoi between the boys, not the part with Yuuki.)

This is an idea I’ve been toying with for a long time, but I’d love to see other people’s take on it. ♥
(I might write it as a fic one day also, but right now I don’t have enough time, so I decided to make it a challenge because I really crave reading this situation. XD; )

The challenge conditions are, of course, that the guys must end up together, and must also both love Yuuki (with the single-minded obsessive level they do in canon XD), since otherwise they wouldn’t be so hell-bent on obeying her command on such a complicated situation. XD
Although the fic is focused on Zero & Kaname, so it’s okay if you’re not into the pairings with Yuuki and/or don’t cover the part with Yuuki much. Skipping to the stuff with the boys and just making it a brief and smutty pwp one-shot is just fine too. X3

Zero and Kaname must be forced to do activities that lovers do (maybe Yuuki gives them a list of ‘lover steps’ to achieve, like walking around holding hands, going on a romantic date together, kissing, increasingly heavy petting etc. XD
Of course, they’d be bickering and initially not liking to have to do it, but please make the focus be more on them earnestly trying to make it work for Yuuki, even though they don’t like each other (initially).
If the focus is on them fighting it’s not as fun, while if the focus is on the more open and vulnerable sides they briefly show each other (due to trying to comply to Yuuki’s wishes), then it would be so lovely! And they’d get to know each other better and get closer, even if they fight ever so often.

And of course, the most dreaded part for them, she insisted they sleep together. She’ll keep ignoring them until they have succeeded in this vital mission she entrusted them. XD
(Maybe she even insists that they share the same bed every day to get used to each other, but in any case, them having sex at some point is a mandatory event from Yuuki’s orders, so the guys are both dreading the day they’ll have to, and who will do what. XD XD)

The fic would be rated M or MA, so you can go all out on the lemon if you like. This should be Zero seme topping Kaname uke, but they can have some switching around also, and a lot of fighting for dominance on the way to the actual lemon etc.  (And if you have more than one lemon, you can have Kaname x Zero in the fic as well, of course.)

I have hilarious mind images of the day the two go to the hotel/bedroom/whatever place to consume their union for the first time, and they’re both being super awkward and arguing about who will do the sticking in and all, bickering all along until Kaname surrenders so that Yuuki will have what she wants and they won’t be there arguing about it forever. XD Zero is surprised Kaname gave in, and perhaps Kaname shows him a more vulnerable side of him, that surprises Zero and makes him feel protective and compelled to be gentle when he takes Kaname’s virginity. ♥

It’s up to you how much switching around (dominance shifts during the foreplay) and how much fighting for dominance happens on the way for the lemon, but please have their first time be Zero topping Kaname. ^^

Eventually, they should fall in love for real so that the threesome can really work well, but of course, if you’re not into the threesome or if you’re doing just a one-shot or something, it’s totally fine to just hint at it or have a mention of it in the last line or author note or something.

The priority is the amusing situations where they’re trying to act like lovers, and the whole awkward situation + hot lemon with them being reluctant but increasingly switching from fighting to being gentle to each other. X3
