--by vknet | Last Updated: October 2, 2011Started a new Info & Features section that has information about some of the features of this site and how to use them. It’s a work in progress and will continue to grow as I have time.
~Created a new Info and Updates slider for the home page (this) that will make it easier to display news and site features.
~Added “Languages” to the options for Stories, Pictures, Videos, Bunnies, Challenges and Games to make it easier to add, search and filter non-English works. The list of languages is not huge right now, I will probably be expanding on it in the future. I realize you still have to understand English to use the site, since that’s what all the interfaces are in, and someday I’d love to make the site more truly multilingual, but for now at least there is a way to add content in other languages if English is not your first language.
If your language is not included in the current language list and you would like it considered for a future update, please comment below with your language and I’ll put it in the list for the future. I’m not sure the site can handle right-to-left languages, but others should be okay. Thanks.
Hi! I think being able to “favorite” fics and pics would be an awesome and convenient addition to the site~ <3

I love this site <3 It has everything a site should have! but… there is one thing I'd love to have here too… A roleplaying forum where we can roleplay from VK, either one-on-one or as a group ^^ Then this site would be perfect~~ Is it posible?
That does sound fun! I’ll have to look into that. The only thing with forums is that they usually need moderators and I don’t have time to do much moding, but maybe a strictly RP area wouldn’t need that much oversight. Let me investigate what it would take to do something like that and if it looks feasible I’ll put it into the future updates queue.
The problem with forums is that since the focus is on talking instead of fanworks people often tend to use that for fighting and bashing instead… ^^;
This site is so awesome because the focus is on enjoying the series and being creative posting things we’ve made etc., instead of simply talking. Although hopefully if it’s a purely RP-only area then maybe people would use it for that only and not right? ^^; *hopes so*

I agree about the pitfalls of a normal general forum, especially when I lack the time and resources to moderate properly. However, I am having some fun ideas for how to do a role playing area that would be a little different in nature and hopefully avoid most of those issues, especially since one of the rules would be that you always have to be in character when posting.
I want the focus of the site to be on creativity and fun. I think that RP-ing could be part of that if it’s handled right. I’m still ironing out a few details on the technical side of things, so it might be a little bit before I can bring the idea I have into fruition, but it’s on my to-do list for a future update.

If I may suggest something, I keep forgetting to mention it by mail but it would be great if the "fun stuff" tab in our profiles displayed a number of fun stuff we've posted, since the other tabs display numbers also.
I realize the reason why the fun stuff tab works differently is due to it having sub-tabs, but as a result it looks like the fun stuff category in our profiles is empty, and so any games or whatever we've made won't be seen unless people go directly to that area and look for them. The little numbers in parenthesis in the tabs are great because they show that there's something there and you feel like clicking.
I don't know if it would be hard to implement or not, it's just a suggestion. ^^; *hopes it's not complicated*

That’s a great idea actually. I’m not sure what it would take to make the Fun Stuff tab add up and display the total items on it’s sub tabs, but I’ll take a look and see if it’s possible. If it is, I’ll definitely make that part of a future update.
Hurrah! It was easier than I thought it would be.
The “Fun Stuff” tab now shows the number of items inside it like the others do.
