Maria Kurenai is a young, Noble Class vampire. Her family is related to the pureblood Hio clan. Maria is one of the few vampires who had the strange misfortune of being born physically weaker and more frail than was normal for their kind, so she had a very limited early social life. She allowed Shizuka Hio to use her body to go to Cross Academy, and although Maria didn’t ask for anything in return, Shizuka gifted her with strength so that her health was no longer frail after the pureblood’s possession ended. She does not appear to possess a particular power, although she is considered an Aristocrat level vampire.
